- Abstract:
- We consider homogenization questions related to Maxwell partial differential equations. More precisely, we consider an assembly of particles, viewed as dipoles, separated in a periodic way by a typical length . The size of each dipole is denoted by . Depending on the relative size of these two scales, we describe the limit partial differential equations, showing a typical discontinuity in the effective frequency.
