- Abstract:
- Through radio frequency heating we can launch wave from the plasma edge to the plasma with minimum losses. Radio frequency heating falls into four major frequency ranges. The wave excited at the edge may propagate into the central region and be absorbed in the range of ion cyclotron resonance frequencies. I have derived a three dimensional dispersion relation for (electrons, ions) species. The dispersion relation exists in power of 16 in terms of n (refractive index).
