Abstract:

With a brief historical description of cryptology, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography areoutlined, RSA algorithm is elaborated Aryabhata algorithm is explained to find themultiplicative inverse in a group that is of interest in cryptology, signal processing, codingand computer design.
